O que esperar
Jerez is a small city with a big reputation. It's famed for its sherry, its horsemanship and as the cradle of flamenco. This tour will give you a taste of all three with the bonus of some free time in the legendary Feria de Jerez – the annual spring fair. But first, you'll visit the González Byass bodega, Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art and a flamenco tablao for lunch.
Kick off your Jerez visit with a combined bus and walking tour, taking in the city's top sights – there's a wealth of churches and crumbling baroque palaces. Full immersion into Jerez culture begins in earnest with the tour and sherry tasting at the González Byass bodega – keep an eye out for the glass left out for the mice.
Next up is the School of Equestrian Art, for a scintillating display of dressage. We'll head over to a tablao for lunch followed by a pulsating flamenco performance. You'll then head to the fairground, where you can mingle with locals in traditional dress and enjoy the fiesta atmosphere.

Rock of Gibraltar Tour with Dolphin Watching Cruise
A quirky potpourri of the familiar and the unusual, Gibraltar is a must-visit. This tour is a roll call of its star attractions – the Barbary apes, the Rock and Main Street. And to top it off, you'll sail around the Bay of Gibraltar for the chance to spot dolphins. Rosa, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Gibraltar's monkeys are the most accommodating wildlife around. Unlike dolphins, you don't have to search for them – they come looking for you, especially if you're holding food.'The fun kicks off with a boat trip in the bay to look out for dolphins. Three species – bottlenose, common and striped – are known to frolic in these waters. Then, back on dry land, head for a guided minibus tour of the Rock of Gibraltar, which juts 426 metres above the Mediterranean. You'll stop at Europa Point, where there are many famous monuments, a mosque and a historic Christian shrine. Plus, you'll also visit the Rock's recently renovated St Michael's Cave, which now hosts an auditorium.At the Upper Rock nature reserve, you'll meet the free-roaming Barbary apes – Europe's only wild monkeys. Rosa adds, ‘There are about 300 monkeys on the Rock. A local legend says that if the monkeys disappear, Gibraltar will stop being British.' Back at ground level, Gibraltar's town centre makes a point of being more British than Britain itself. Head to Main Street, where many of the British high street chains have outlets, for a mooch around its duty-free shops.

Starting at Landport Gate, the historic entrance to Gibraltar's fortification, you'll be led through Casemates Square and up Irish Town, each step revealing more about Gibraltar's diverse past.Take a look at Bomb House Lane's distinctive architecture and pay your respects at Trafalgar Cemetery, final resting place for many sailors lost during the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. You'll hear tales of Moorish, Spanish, and British rule, as shared by our knowledgeable guides. Finally, it's time for some retail therapy along Main Street, Gibraltar's bustling commercial hub. Here you'll find duty-free shops offering everything from luxury goods to souvenirs.
