What to expect

Explore the Scottish Highlands, and the magical Isle of Skye on a 5-day journey. You'll head north to discover some of the most iconic scenery and sights that Scotland has to offer including the Isle of Skye and even feel like you've gone back in time as you hop on board a Jacobite steam train.

The first stop on your journey will be Stirling, home to the Wallace Monument, where you can take in the scenic views of the landscape and castle before you continue north through Rannoch Moor and Glencoe to the fishing port of Oban.

Take the Jacobite steam train and enjoy the spectacular ride with sweeping views of Loch Shiel. Arrive at Mallaig where you'll be able to catch the ferry over the sea to Skye and begin exploring this magical island.

Continue to soak up more of the stunning Isle of Skye with its awe-inspiring mountains, rugged coastline, myths and legends before returning to the mainland. On the way to Loch Ness, you'll stop at the incredibly photogenic, Eilean Donan Castle before winding your way along the Great Glen to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands.

Then it's time to hunt for the elusive monster with a cruise on Loch Ness before turning northward to the beauty of the north-west Highlands. You'll take in the beautiful town of Beauly with its Priory dating back to 1230, and then it's to a Highland Whisky Distillery.

Your final day includes the Culloden Battlefield, the scene of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s defeat back in 1746, Clava Cairns, and Dundreggan.
