What to expect

The Skye High is a wee gem. An ideal tour for travellers short on time who want to get the most out of their trip to Scotland. All the best stuff is packed in: Nessie Hunting, ruined castles, stunning lochs, and dramatic mountains.

Day 1: Leaving Edinburgh at 8.00am, take in views of the spectacular Forth Bridges and visit the quaint village of Dunkeld with its historic cathedral. Enjoy a stop at Fort Augustus on the banks of Loch Ness with the opportunity to search for a glimpse of the legendary beast. Your journey to the Isle of Skye takes us past one of the most photographed castles in Scotland - Eilean Donan. Your home for the night is the small village of Portree on the Isle of Skye.

Day 2: It's all about the Isle of Skye. Today you'll explore the Isle of Skye, also known as the 'Misty Isle': a bucket-list destination thanks to its heart-stopping scenery. This wee island is packed with ruined castles, breathtaking views and faerie stories. Between 1 April and 15 October, you will also be able to visit Dunvegan Castle. Dunvegan Castle is the ancestral home of the Chiefs of Clan MacLeod before returning to Portree.

Day 3: After leaving the Isle of Skye, there will be a stop at the Dundreggan Rewilidn Centre. It is here incredible conservation work takes place. The journey goes through one of the last remaining wildernesses in Europe, Rannoch Moor. One of Scotland's most iconic locations is the next stop, Loch Ness. Loch Ness's shores can be enjoyed at Fort Augustus.
