Janos Hill lookout tower is the highest point of Budapest. As it's a bit far from the city center, most visitors tend to miss this place. On this guided tour you will explore both the hill and the lookout tower and sink in the panorama of the city.

After meeting your guide at the meeting point in Budapest, at Batthyány square which is a center point next to the river Danube, your tour guide will accompany you in a private car to the mountains to the chairlift station.

Enjoy the 20-minute ride and try to spot the famed places from above. Once up, take a walk around the hill, find the highest point of the city and visit the lookout tower. Take as many pictures as you want and admire the breathtaking scenery to complete the memorable experience.

Guide was very friendly. helpful and knowledgable. A little more precise information as to exactly where to meet the guide would be useful, but he came to find us.

The pick up point was several hundred metres from the ship, and the experience manager aboard didn’t seem to know anything about it..We were left to guess where we were going, fortunately Victor, the driver and guide, who was excellent, was looking out for us, as the ship was late docking..Apparently he is normally contacted by the ships tour manager, but not in our case…Despite that, really enjoyed it, as it was very quiet at that time.. Later would be far too crowded….

The driver did not pick us up from the ship and the directions to meet him were difficult to find The driver took us back to the ship on our return and said he could have picked us up but tui would not allow him to, which seemed strange. He has an 8 seater mini bus so could carry 8 tui guest. I did give his care to Scott the rep on board

Excellent guide, pleasant, helpful ,could not do too much for us, very knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour. Would have been more convenient if pick up had been at the cruise boat , as where we were berthed was far away from the pick up point.

Great experience & we loved the tour guide. Unfortunately we didn't realise that this visit required us to make our own way to the meeting point. Tui sent us details of all of the available trips, we booked & paid for 2 trips at the same time. It is not very clear that only cruise experience trips collect you from the boat.
