The excursion is a 12 hour day. The guide & driver were both friendly and polite. We spent more of the day travelling than visiting places and several places we visited tried to charge extra for entrance fees that should have been included. The travel was not in an air-conditioned vehicle and spending hours squashed in the back (5 adults, toyota Land Cruiser) is not comfortable. The tour was not conducted in the order described so we did not see sunrise over the salt flats. A lot of driving!
