On this tour you'll discover a place which is emblematic of the heart and soul of bullfighting, where the world’s finest matadors present their artistry and skill. You'll be guided through the key parts of the bullring, from the beautiful bullfighting museum to the chapel, the ring, the callejón, putting into context the three protagonists of this magnificent spectacle: the audience, the bullfighter and the bull.
The Plaza de Toros of Las Ventas is considered the most important bullring in the world, the Mecca of bullfighting and the arena where all matadors want to succeed. It also hosts the most demanding audience in the world and few bullfighters reach absolute triumph, the exit through the Puerta Grande of Madrid: less than 100 bullfighters since it opened in 1931. Las Ventas is a seasonal bullring, in which bullfights begin at the end of March and end in October, normally on Sundays.
