Founded in 1997 and housed in its iconic riverside building along the Singapore River since 2003, the museum traces its origins to the historic Raffles Museum of the mid-19th century.

Admission to all galleries ends 30 minutes before closing time
Seniors 60 years and above can enjoy a concession admission. Valid proof of identity (e.g. passport, ID card) must be presented at the Visitor Services counter
Free admission to all permanent galleries for Singapore citizens, permanent residents
Free admission for children below 6 years old
Children must be accompanied by adults at all times
