Soak up Cambodia’s rich culture during this temple-hopping trip from Phnom Penh. From the hotel, you will take a drive and leave behind the hustle and bustle of the capital as you head to Tonle Bati (33 km). The area is home to Angkorian temples: 12th to 13th century Ta Prohm (not to be confused with Angkor’s Ta Prohm) and 12th-century Yeay Peau. You´ll continue to Takeo and explore the 6th century Phnom Da Temple before marvelling at Ashram Maharosei, an Indian-style sandstone temple.
You then return to Takeo to visit the ancient Chenla capital, Angkor Borei, where you will learn about its history during a trip to the museum. On the way back to Phnom Penh, you stop at Phnom Chisor to immerse yourself in the spectacular hilltop views.
