This exclusive private tour of Kingston and the Blue Mountains highlights the contrasts between urban and rural Jamaica. Among the star attractions are visits to a coffee plantation, Emancipation Park and the Bob Marley Museum.

First, we'll head into the Blue Mountains. Stop for an authentic Jamaican lunch and then tour the Craighton Estate – certified by the Rainforest Alliance – and taste its coffee.

Then, it's on to laid-back yet noisy Kingston. Tour historic sites in the capital's uptown like Emancipation Park – here you'll see the Redemption Song and the Bob Marley statues. At the Bob Marley Museum, you'll see mementoes such as his gold and platinum discs as well as his outfits and instruments.

Ik zag een humming bird van heel dichtbij in Cafe Blue. Bob Marley museum was ook de moeite waard om te zien. De gids was heel attent op comfort en veiligheid. Een lang maar onvergetelijk excursie.

There's only a 17 seconds stop at a park in the city without any information as to what the place is about then back in car to the mountains thus completely bypassing the city. The coffee plantation is a sorry place with only 1 coffee plant as exhibition. Lunch is below every standard and visit to Bob Marley museum is utterly inhumane. 47 people were crowded in one little room. You could feel other persons breath on your face. Also very short museum stay and poorly prepared.

The tour was amazing, couldn't fault it. However they weren't able to cater for my gluten free diet on the tour. The hotel stepped in to help and prepared food to take, but didn't have take away boxes for it. I had to cart a lunch tray with plates of food on it half way across Jamaica from Lucea to Kingston. Luckily it was a private tour in a car. Had it been a bus it would have been impossible.

Booking the TUI experience was easy enough. Becky is very informative at the time of booking and she'll tell you all that you need for the trip. We arranged for our pick up to be at 6am but the driver was told to be at our hotel at 05.45am. We expected the same driver but No! We were being dropping us off to meet a driver in Mobay. We were greeted by another driver on the side of the road but we weren't expecting this or even told at time if booking that we would have two drivers !
