Join this tour and discover one of the most beautiful archaeological areas of Italy, as well as the largest in the world: the famous Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. Your guide will lead you to discover the secrets of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, where time seems to stand still, preserving an unprecedented historical charm.

Located on a plateau not far from the sea, this archaeological park boasts an excellent state of preservation and some very important Doric temples of the Hellenic period. It corresponds to the ancient Akragas, the original monumental nucleus of the city of Agrigento. Source of inspiration for poets, philosophers and painters, it is undoubtedly one of the most emblematic parks in Sicily.

Inside the Valley there are twelve temples as well as some fortifications, the Lower and Upper Agora, an Olympeion and a Vouleuterion. The tour will start from the Temple of Hera, continuing on the sacred way to the remains of the surrounding wall. You will continue with the visit of the Temple of Concord, the remains of the early Christian necropolis, the Temple of Heracles and the remains of the Temple of Zeus.
