From coastal conservation projects to wild landscapes, this two-day journey takes you from Colombo to Yala through some of southern Sri Lanka’s most memorable spots. Visit the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Centre to learn about sea turtle protection, then take a boat ride through the mangrove-lined waterways and small islands of Madu Ganga.
You’ll also have time to explore Galle Fort, where historic streets and coastal views reflect the area’s rich past. The adventure continues in Yala National Park with a half-day Jeep safari through habitats home to elephants, crocodiles and an incredible variety of birds. Keep your eyes peeled for leopards, too, before returning to Colombo.
