I enjoyed the guided tour and boat trip but for me getting to view Palazzo Te was my personal highlight. The tour allowed enough free time for me to do this.

Have been to Mantua before so didnt go round with the guide. Trip was excellent but all guests were German (except one Israeli pair who spoke English) so had to listen to everything in German as well as English, and boat trip had Italian/German commentary. Although our excellent guide gave me a full English written translation and guide to the boat trip scenery. Listening to German language for most of the day however did not stop my enjoyment of this excellent excursion.

Enjoyed the whole day. The service from the guides was excellent - very friendly and helpful. Boat trip was lovely. All was well executed. Only negative was that several of the places we could visit seemed shut between 1 and 3pm, meaning difficult to visit in the free time. Overall excellent day out.

The guides were informative and friendly. The boat trip was good. Disappointed by the market being held at the same time as our trip as it spoilt the atmosphere of the medieval town. Entrance fees for theatre and/or museum should be part of the tour as it was expensive for a party of three.

My wife and I experienced this tour last year. This year we opted out of the guided walk in order to visit the Ducal Palace and the new museum. Enjoyed the boat tour again.
