Excursão ao pôr do sol em Albufera, Alcúdia e Bodega Butxet

It was a lovely trip for a first time in tasting the local wines. Nice to hear about how the white, red and rose wines are made and found out information we didn't know about how rose wine is made. Pleasant owners and staff at the winery and they gave good information. We did feel that the trip was on a very tight schedule and would have liked more time to savour each wine. At the end we only had 10 minutes for a coach load of people to decide if they want to buy any and get back on the coach.

For the time allocated in Alcudia which was approximately 30 minutes I personally don’t think the stop off there was worth it. Could do with starting the trip a couple of hours early so you could benefit from the time in Alcudia. The wine tasting was superb the host was fantastic. Would be a lovely place to add maybe a sit down evening meal included whilst watching the sunset over the mountains. All together I felt the trip was too rushed.

We could have done with a little longer in the old town, just felt rushed, the history we were told was brilliant, The wine tour was great loved seeing all the aspects of wine making the lady, spoke very passionate about it. The 4 wines we tasted was amazing, the tapas, was a couple of crackers a slice of cheese and crisp. Overall we loved the trip.

Overall a great experience, the guide was lovely and very informative about Alcudia Old Town and Mallorca in general. The wine tasting venue was stunning and the winery tour and tasting was excellent. The only small downside was the tasting of local food which I think could be improved.

Would of been nice to have longer in Alcudia old town but the wine tasting at Butxet was excellent and the owner Magda was very informative and hospitable.
