Topkapi Palace was the primary residence of the Ottoman Sultans for nearly four centuries, and now stands as a testament to their opulence and grandeur. The palace is home to an impressive collection of artefacts from the Ottoman era, including weapons used by the Ottoman Army, exquisite fabrics, precious jewels, and intricate pieces of art. Topkapi Palace cannot be visited without a guide
All guests will receive an audio guide from the local operator and must use their own device
The guided tours are conducted in English, while the audio guide is available in 25 different languages
Download the audio guide using the link in your confirmation email or through the “Show My E-Ticket” button with your QR code
There is no Wi-Fi inside the museum, so the first download requires an internet connection. After downloading, the audio guide can be used offline
Please do not leave Topkapi Palace before entering the Harem. Your guide will arrange the entry, and you must stay until the guided tour is complete
Children will be asked to present a valid passport at the museum entrance to validate their age
Temporary update: Please note that the Outer Treasury (Weapon Collection), parts of the Matbah-i Amir Kitchen Complex, and the Petition Chamber / Audience Hall of Topkapi Palace are currently closed. Other sections are open as usual
