The warm waters of Madeira make the ideal spot for a first time scuba dive. Discover a world below the waves with this PADI Open Water course. This three-day programme is intensive but fun. Even if you've no experience, your friendly diving instructors will have you enjoying the underwater kingdom in no time.
You'll start the course with a day in the pool. Getting to grips with your equipment, you'll learn diving theory and some all-important scuba skills. On the following days, you'll continue to learn and practice â this time in the Atlantic Ocean.
Over the three-and-a-half-day course, you'll eventually dive to a maximum of 18m depth. You'll need to pass a practical and written test to become a qualified diver, but your expert teachers make the whole course fun and informative so you'll learn lots. And when completed, you'll have a world recognized diving qualification to take with you, wherever you go.
