Leave Kraków for a day to visit the historic monuments Auschwitz and Birkenau. Auschwitz was one of the largest concentration camps built by the Nazis during the Second World War. The remains of the camps are now listed as UNESCO World Heritage and form the most important memorials of the Holocaust to act as proof of the terrors that took place during the war.

From the starting point located in the centre of Kraków, an English-speaking driver will take you to the town of Oświęcim where the museums are located.

Upon arrival, you can freely walk around Auschwitz for two hours with the help of a rented booklet available in 19 languages. It will provide you with all the background information you need. The driver will then take you to the second camp Auschwitz-Birkenau where you can spend at least 1 hour before travelling back to the centre of Kraków.

Coach used is uncomfortable for a trip of this duration. Not enough legroom. Tighter than Ryanair’s planes!!! Very last minute comms for the trip. No signage on coach on arrival so difficult to know whether you’re at the correct location.

The tour was rearranged to a later time in the day so we didn’t have enough time to explore the camps. By the time we eventually entered the camp museum we only had just over 2 hours to explore. Also the guide booklet included was not a guide book at all it was just a booklet containing photographs. No camp layout map showing highlighted areas to visit or information about specific exhibitions. Very disappointing

The tour itself was great and we did have a memorable experience. However pick up time was 12 but we wasn’t informed of the 2.5 hour delay I had to call Tui to find this out myself. Our guide Ollie was amazing and very welcoming and informative. Poor planning with communication though we stood outside in the cold for almost an hour before finding out about the delay.

Information was clear as to our meeting place & time to arrive. We nearly missed our taxi as it wasn't clear it was the 1 we were looking for. The time in the museums was very short for amount there was to see & the area to cover. We were grateful our taxi waited as we were 10 minutes late to the meeting place. The driver was kind, 1 of the passengers less so. Overall, we were really glad we went. Next time we'd book a whole day trip to the museums

The museum can change your visit time, so your pickup time may change accordingly. You will receive final confirmation via email 1–2 days before the tour. Due to the extremely high visitors’ volume and internal policies, Auschwitz-Birkenau reserves the right to cancel tours or guides at any time, even a few days or hours before the visit. If this happens, you will be informed and if possible, offered an alternative date or program
All visitors are required to pass through security checks before entering the museum grounds
Every guest must carry an ID or passport matching the name and surname provided at checkout, which will also be reflected on your museum entrance ticket
No live guide is included in this experience. A booklet is available in English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Greek, Turkish, Dutch, Portuguese, Czech, Norwegian Bokmål, Swedish, Finnish, Korean, Polish, Japanese, Russian, Ukrainian and Hungarian
Remember to be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure
In case of an unexpected change of tour time, the supplier will contact you via email or phone
There is a maximum size for backpacks or handbags of 30x20x10cm
Luggage storage is available for larger items
Please show solemnity and respect while visiting the museums
A minimum age of 14 is recommended
Infants must sit on your lap during transport
