Embark at Black River on the west coast of Mauritius, which is not only popular for white sandy beaches, but also the best spot to see wild dolphins and whales. Enjoy the beautiful blue turquoise seawater of this coast and admire the playful Bottlenose dolphins. Stop for some swimming time where you can also go snorkeling in the refreshing waters near the reef.

The trip then continues outside the lagoon into high seas to see the whales in their natural habitat. Sperm Whales can be spotted all year round, while Humpback Whales can be seen from June to September during migration.

We had a great morning we saw female sperms whales with their babies and very rare site of an male sperm whale which came very close to the boat ,we also saw dolphins . Great trip ,only thing we didn't like was the early start of 6am but well worth it to see the whales and dolphins

We moesten om 5 uur klaar staan bij de receptie van ons hotel. Het was een uur rijden, dus 6 uur stonden we bij het strand waar we op de boot moesten, maar vervolgens waren de mensen van de boot er pas om 7 uur. Dat was een beetje jammer, vooral omdat het zo vroeg was. Maar de erving zelf was fantastisch, de gids/reisleiding was ook ontzettend goed! Vooral als je Thomas als gids hebt! Jonge gast vol energie en ontzettend enthousiast over de zeedieren.
