Start your adventure at Castel Sant’Angelo, known for its dungeons where nobles, artists, and common criminals lived. Explore the outside of the castle, and continue walking along Via del Governo Vecchio to Piazza Pasquino.

Reach Largo di Torre Argentina, where the great Julius Caesar was assassinated. And finally, conclude your tour in Piazza Mattei, which takes its name from the Giacomo Mattei palace.
