Start from the Cité Internationale des Arts, which hosts more than 300 artists in its workshops and regularly proposes exhibitions. The Hôtel d'Aumont now houses the Administrative Court of Paris, built by the plans of Louis Le Vau, the architect of the Château de Versailles. Admire a magnificent French-style garden that looks almost like a painting.

Discover how Paris was first built in the Marais Sud before spreading out around the Louvre and admire the 12th-century Parisian city walls, which are almost 1000 years old. And the old Hôtel Saint-Paul, sadly famous since the "Bal des Ardents" organized by Charles VI. The biggest scandal of the 17th century was unleashed in a private mansion in South Marais and the mansion where the assassination of King Henri IV took place on 14 May 1610.
