Take a half-day trip to the Sierra Negra Volcano, considered the oldest of the Isabela volcanos.
The tour starts early in the morning from the starting point which is 30 minutes from Puerto Villamil, where the trail that leads to the Sierra Negra volcano begins. You'll walk for about 5 hours on the volcano, while you admire the spectacular landscape and try to spot the rich wildlife of the area. Most of the journey is flat, with few ups and downs.
You'll then enter the small volcano, which is inside the crater of the Sierra Negra Volcano, where many holes feel warm when you put your hand in.

- The minimum age required to participate is 12. Children must be accompanied by an adult
- The pickup service is available only inside the urban perimeter of Puerto Villamil, from the following locations: Redmangrove, Hotel Coral Blanco, Hostal Galapagos by Bar de Beto, Hostal Rincon de George, Hotel Albemarle, Hotel La Casa de Marita, Hotel San Vicente Galapagos, and Brisas del Mar. Please note: If you're staying in another area, you should reach the meeting point at Las Fragatas (Isabela Puerto Villamil Islas Galápagos, EC)
