Depart from central Sofia on a 2.5-hour comprehensive self-guided walking tour to see the city's highlights. Explore the area at your own pace with reading material.

The tour includes all of the most prominent sights in Sofia! Travel to St. George Rotunda, the Administration of the President, National Archeological Museum, 16th century Banya Bashi Mosque and St. Nedelya – old metropolitan church

Enjoy views of the National Theater, former Royal Palace (now housing National Revival Art Gallery and Ethnographic Museum), St. Nikolay Russian Church and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Then, go to the National Assembly Square, where, in the middle of the square sits the impressive Tsar Osvoboditel (King Liberator) monument erected in 1907 by the Italian sculptor Arnoldo Zocchi.

Finally, see the Holy Synod, St. Sofia Church, Bulgarian National Gallery for Foreign Art and Alexander Nevski Cathedral – the biggest one in Bulgaria (without entrance fee) and according to many – the most spectacular building in Sofia.
