Op deze tour gaan cultuur en avontuur perfect samen. Je begint met een bezoek aan de archeologische site van Coba. Hier heb je vrije tijd om Nohoch Mul, de hoogste Maya piramide op het schiereiland Yucatan, te verkennen en zelfs te beklimmen. Daarna ga je naar het Rio Secreto Natuurreservaat waar je de rest van de middag wandelt en zwemt in een uniek systeem van ondergrondse rivieren en oude grotten. Let op: tours in het Duits vinden plaats op vrijdag, afhankelijk van de beschikbaarheid.

Geweldige ervaring zowel Coba als Rio Secreto. De beste van alle excursies die ik heb gedaan. De Gids (Imelda) was top, wist veel te vertellen en had echt een hart voor haar werk, de Maya cultuur en de grotten van Rio Secreto. Je moet inderdaad geen claustrofobie hebben. Enige minpuntjes: de erg late lunch waardoor we wat gehaast moesten eten om op tijd in het hotel te zijn en het feit dat je zelf geen foto's mocht maken maar moest kopen voor heel veel geld.

Rio Secreto amazing Cobá nice place to get to know more about Mexican history however we think between Rio Secreto and Coba there is a long distance which took us more time in the transport the way to the attraction and the return

The trip to the underground river was excellent fun with our guide Imelda. The same team then took us to Coba, it was great fun riding in the jungle on a shopping bike! The whole experience from pick up to drop off was marvellous. Buffet lunch was also great. Only downside was the price they were looking to charge for photos - quite extortionate - we bought 1 for the memory.

Prise en charge à l'hôtel à l'heure. La visite de Rio secreto était exceptionnelle de beauté. Pouvoir marcher et nager dans une grotte était un moment magique. La découverte de Coba fu un moment très plaisant d'histoire surtout l'ascension du temple. Notre guide Ana était très cultivée, souriante et drôle. Nous avons passé une très belle journée avec elle. Merci Ana Aucun point négatif pour nous.

There was no indication that a bike ride would be needed to cover the Coba Site. For those who can ride a bike, the 80Peso cost was covered in the excursion booking. Since I don't ride a bike, I had to pay the full price of 180Peso/80min for a bike taxi service. There was quite a queue to climb the pyramid, eating into my rental time, and I had to leave the final ball court site without hearing what the guide had to say. A reduction to the taxi cost should also be given.
