Sandy beaches, desert plains and rugged mountain peaks set the scene on this small-group adventure through the wild heart of Fuerteventura. With just eight guests and a comfy, air-conditioned bus, you'll explore the Jandía Peninsula's most photogenic corners, from viewpoints to dazzling coast, with plenty of time to soak it all in.

One of the highlights is Sotavento Beach – a nine-kilometre sweep of soft sand and turquoise lagoons known as the 'Queen of Beaches.' There's free time to swim, stroll and relax, or simply watch the windsurfers and kitesurfers who flock here. Along the way, you'll stop for views over the 'Maldives of Europe.'

The journey continues into places mass tourism rarely reaches, including Jandía Natural Park and La Pared, where otherworldly landscapes once starred in Star Wars. A guided walk to Playa del Viejo Rey reveals striking rock formations and cliffside views. The day wraps up in Morro Jable, the laid-back 'Miami of Fuerteventura' where you'll explore the pretty streets and a viewpoint, with time to sample traditional Canarian flavours at your own pace.

Het is meer een taxi sercice. Je wordt op 3 plekken gedropt. Bij de eerste plaats loopt de chauffeur mee, daarna zet hij je de bus uit en zegt wanneer hij weer vertrekt. Aan het einde tracht hij je een fles olijfolie te verkopen. De man, op zich vriendelijk, rijdt als een bezetene. Hard optrekken, door de bochten scheuren, hard remmen. Heeft hij volgens mij zelf niet in de gaten.

Na een mooie wandeling naar een klif met prachtig uitzicht nog langs meerdere uitkijk punten gereden en gestopt voor foto’s. Daarna was er nog een uurtje vrije tijd op een mooi strand. De dag eindigde in een vis restaurant met uitzicht op zee. Neem vooral voldoende water mee en hoofd bescherming. Er is veel zon en vrijwel geen schaduw. De gids sprak goed Engels en wist veel van de geschiedenis van de bezochte locaties. Al met al een leuk middagje uit.

The tour did not include all points of interest of the description, for example we did not go to Cofete beach. However I enjoyed the places we went, especially Jandia national park. The tour did not end in Moro Jable but in a fish resraurant. I don’t eat fish so I took a taxi back to the hotel.
