Every year the tour will visit a different cave, as the glacier is ever-changing and it provides us with a new and amazing place to explore every winter. The ice cave is very sensitive to temperature, accessibility and other conditions. The tour operator always puts safety first on these tours and they never go into the glacier unless it is absolutely safe. Visiting an Ice Cave provides a unique experience and great photographic opportunity. The light shining through the ancient ice projects a magical blue color that is characteristic of the crystal caves.
For important safety reasons, it is not recommended to go into the ice caves without a certified glacier guide.
