A small German city full of medieval architecture, Ingolstadt boasts a rich history, cultural heritage, and a thriving economy. Located on the River Danube in the state of Bavaria right between Munich and Nuremberg, Ingolstadt is home to the Audi car company, which has its headquarters and main production facilities in the city, and is the birthplace of the Illuminati, a secret society that was formed in the late 1700s.

In addition to being known for Audi and the Illuminati, Ingolstadt has a long history as a fortress city, with walls, towers, and gates that were built to protect it from invasions. One of the most notable landmarks in Ingolstadt is the Kreuztor Gate, a beautifully preserved structure that dates back to the Middle Ages. The gate, along with the other historical buildings and landmarks in the city, gives Ingolstadt a unique and charming character.
