Helsinki is known for many of its flawless systems, one of which being its public transportation which ranks among the best in the world. The city also has one of the oldest tram systems in the world which dates back to 1891. In the city centre areas, trams are the first choice of the locals when it comes to public transportation.
In this tour, you will visit various parts of Finland's capital using the famous tram system and you will get out of the touristy areas so you can enjoy it like a local. Exploring Helsinki with local transport will give you an easy-going authentic experience and will enable you to discover hidden locations that you may not find in standard itineraries. Expect to find secret parks, beaches, beautiful cafes and pubs, flea markets, great views and impressive architecture.
You will be provided with a public transportation ticket which is valid for 24 hours and which is yours to keep after the tour is over. Tour will include a beautiful route covering various neighborhoods; Kruununhaka, Katajanokka, Punavuori, Eira, Ullanlinna, Kaartinkaupunki, Kamppi, and Etu-Töölö.
