This self-guided audio tour is designed for anyone interested in exploring the history, architecture, and cultural scene of Paris. The experience begins at Musée Banksy, where you'll delve into the world of street art and the works of the anonymous artist Banksy. Admission is included, but there is no guided tour inside the exhibition, so you'll be free to visit it at your own pace before continuing through the French capital.
From there, the route leads you past some of Paris' most recognisable landmarks, including the Palais Garnier, Place Vendôme, the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, the Louvre Museum and the Conciergerie. Along the way, the audio commentary highlights key moments in the city's history and introduces the stories behind these sites.
You'll admire the medieval architecture of the Conciergerie, take in the stained-glass windows of Sainte-Chapelle and cross the elegant Pont Alexandre III. The tour also passes the Musée d'Orsay, housed in a former railway station, and Rue Cler, known for its speciality shops and everyday Parisian atmosphere. Other highlights include the Eiffel Tower, the Hôtel des Invalides and views across the Seine from the Pont des Arts.
