Get picked up from your hotel in Marrakech and drive into the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains which rise up from the plains. Then, enter a green, agricultural valley with a thriving traditional culture. Make your first stop of the day at a place where local Berber women extract precious argan oil from the kernels of the argan tree.

Next, head to the village of Setti Fatma, which is your starting point for a 1.5-hour hike to the Siti Fatma Waterfalls. You will follow a steep trail across a series of narrow bridges to 7 picturesque cascades. While at the waterfalls, and throughout the tour, take advantage of your day with a local trekking guide to set your own pace, with plenty of time to take breaks or ask questions. After the hike, you can cool off with a drink and continue to a local family home to have an optional classic Berber meal of tajine, salad, and fresh fruits. At around 5.00pm, you will return to Marrakech and dropped off back at your hotel.

Both the driver and the guide were polite and attentive and made sure everyone in our group enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately I had an asthma attack on the way up to the waterfalls. The guide couldn’t have been more kind and made sure I was left somewhere safe at a restaurant with water and collected me on the way back down. The rest of the party had thoroughly enjoyed their trek and spoke very highly of our guide.

The stops en route meant that it took over 3 hours to get to the Ourika valley and at the first stop (ostensibly to use the toilets-which were disgusting!) there was heavily pressured selling. When we finally arrived at the Ourika valley is was so busy with multiple tours on at once. This made navigating the rocks up to the valley particularly tricky. The waterfall was lovely but so full of people there that it was difficult to see it.

Anfang war etwas langwierig.Stop am Aussichtspunkt(Aussicht traumhaft),aber viele Verkäufer mit Armbändern die man 2x wegschicken muss.Dann Berberhaus.Guter Tee,netter Führer aber eigentlich Teppichverkauf.Dann Fußweg zur Frauenkooperative die Arganöl herstellen.Guter Tee und Honig, Amlou uArganöl mit Brot.Die Damen alle sehr freundlich,zuvorkommend.Wissen alles über ihr Öl und Wirkung versch.Zutaten. Hier fühlt man sich nicht gedrängt zu kaufen.Dann Stop im Restaurant, dann Berge.Feste Schuhe.

The tour guide Hossine was amazing he held my hand to keep me safe when he could see i was struggling to club on rocks. He was warm, poliet, welcoming and very informative. I highly recommend using him has a guide tour and doing this experience it was amazing five star

Brilliant tour. Lovely scenery. Really interesting too. Our guide was great, fun and knowledgeable. Only downside was it all became a bit rushed at the end on the hot hike to the waterfall. Far too many people there. Was soo busy.
