Join this wine tasting experience and learn all about the winemaking culture Cyprus. In this 1 and half hour activity, you will attend a wine tasting in a family-owned wine shop operating uninterrupted since 1961, located in Larnaca old city center a few steps from the famous Saint Lazarus church one of the must-see attractions in Cyprus

Begin your experience while taking your own seat on a wine tasting table where you'll find a bottle of water and some tasty bread sticks. Accompanied by an experienced staff member, you'll learn all about grape varieties, the different wine regions of Cyprus, as well as recommendations about pairing wines with food.

During the tasting you will get to taste 10+1 Cyprus wines made with indigenous grape varieties of Cyprus including: 1 rose, 4 white, 4 red, 1 Commandaria sweet wines famed as the oldest wine in the world as well as 1 Cyprus liqueur or spirit all of them served in different glasses depending on the type of wines.

The owner of the wine cellar was very pleasant and welcoming,also very knowledge. Wine tasting experience was enjoyable although only 3 people were in attendance. Explained the history of wine making in Cyprus. Only draw back was the distance from hotel to the wine cellar, it took almost 2 hours to reach by public transport.

All wines included during the wine tasting are available for sale in the retail wine shop next to the tasting room where more than 100 Cyprus wines are on sale.
