Illan bussikuljetukset Makarskaan

We booked Tui blue Makarska thinking we would easily be able to access Makarska. We wanted to use a local bus, but the hotel TUi rep. Didn’t recommend this option. But instead sold us a transfer to Makarska. This was very expensive €28 x 4 people to travel just a few miles. The pick up was 8.30pm which was late if you wanted to eat there. The bus dropped us outside of town by a supermarket. We had no instructions by the driver on where to go and had to walk in the dark, which we didn’t feel safe

Der Fahrer ist viel zu schnell gefahren, hat dabei häufig telefoniert (ohne Freisprechanlage) und hat uns leicht verspätet in Makarska abgeholt. Der Aufenthalt in Makarska war sehr schön aber etwas zu lang.

Happy with the transport however the length of time in Makarska is simply to short. You need more time, lunch would of been nice to stay and not rushing around. When we tried to sort our own transport out to go on our own on another day our hotel rep wasent very helpful.

Our driver there was fabulous and told us to return for 11:30pm for the bus back to the hotel. The driver that collected us later (not the same driver) was nearly 20 minutes late and laughed about it when he dis finally arrived. This didnt go down well with the party of people he was picking up.

The shuttle bus going was fine. The return bus was 20 minutes late with no apology from the driver just a sly comment of “did you expect me to fly here”. By this point we were trying to find alternative transport as we didn’t think it would come. I would not recommend this service.

There was not a guide, we were dropped off outside the town. The pick up from Makarska was delayed by 10mins. Makarska is awesome but we did not have enough time or any help of what to do.
