Well worth the long day! The trip is really lovely! Perast is very beautiful and Kotor is vey picturesque. The boarder crossing went as well as can be expected. Our guide Niko was very helpful, made sure everyone knew what to do. No WiFi in Montenegro so take alternative entertainment for the bus. Take lots of €1 coins you’ll need them for the toilets.

Loved the whole day. Plenty of things to see and our tour guide was very informative. Only thing that I would have changed was a quick 10 minute break on the way back to stretch my legs and maybe get a drink but I appreciate that getting through the border can take time so this may not be possible.

The day was very well organised particularly where border crossing was involved. We had the perfect amount of free time in both locations. Our guide Niko was amazing, very engaging, knowledgeable and helpful. One issue was that it stated on your site when we booked the trip that boat/ferry and entry to Our Lady on the Rock was included in the price. Neither were. We were asked to pay €10 each for the boat and entry to the church would have been extra on top of that. Coach was too hot on return.

Didn't mind very long day but 3 hours sitting in the van without a stop was a bit much. Guide fell asleep at our second stop in Montenegro 50 mins we waited for him to return and only came back because we telephoned. He was quite talkative on the way there but hardly said a word on the way back. Basically two stops. He wasn't rude or anything really negative but basically we were paying for a taxi rather than a tour
