Olitpa sitten Bob Marleyn fani tai halusitpa vain nähdä todellisen Jamaikan, tämä retki on nappivalinta. Näet musiikkilegendan kodin ja hautapaikan, sekä nautit herkullisen lounaan ravintolassa.

Aloitat maisemallisella ajelulla St. Annin läpi. Se tunnetaan kauniina "puutarhakuntana", sillä se on täynnä vehreitä vuoria ja kyliä. Suuntaat Nine Milesiin, kylään, jossa Marley syntyi vuonna 1945. Täällä pääset vierailemaan hänen vanhassa kodissaan, joka on nykyään museo. Kuljeskele ympäriinsä katsellen muistoesineitä, samalla kun oppaasi kertoo reggaen kuninkaan elämästä. Sen jälkeen vierailet mausoleumissa, jonne muusikko on haudattu lepoon.

Iltapäivällä nautit maukkaan lounaan Scotchies Jerk Centre -ravintolassa, jonka Trip Advisor on äänestänyt yhdeksi Jamaikan parhaista ravintoloista.

Really enjoyed our trip, even more than I thought I would! Our guide Nikki and driver Dean were so lovely, yes the roads up to Bob Marley’s house were a bit precarious but the drivers know what they are doing and they are no worse than some in the English countryside. Our guide up there, Benjamin, was sensational! We did stop at the souvenir shop and while we were encouraged to try different rums, we didn’t feel pressured to buy anything, the same as at Bob Marley’s house with weed. 10/10!

It was an excellent informative all round service. Our Guide and Driver worked well together and nothing was too much trouble for them.

George the driver was very good and for the most part on the way there kept us well informed and imparted a lot of knowledge on the tour. The female rep barely spoke and contributed little to the coach trip or the experience at all. We are disgusted with Tui for the following reason. On arriving at nine mile the rep herds everybody into a shack which serves no purpose other than to extort money forcefully out of visitors for unwanted tat and drugs. Most people were forced to pay 120 dollars orso

The guide T and driver George was absolutely fantastic, full of information and great sense of humour, could not fault anything would highly recommend them both

Wir waren schon einmal vor 2 jahren. Nine mile ist sehr kommerziell geworden. Es ist eigentlich mehr zur show geworden mit vielen shoppinglaeden. Sehr schade
