Your evening starts with a guided tour of the Doge's Palace. Visiting at last entry-time, you'll get to explore rooms like the Armory, the Hall of the Great Council. the spooky prisons and the Bridge of Sighs during the quietest time of day, allowing you the time and space to really appreciate this incredible building.

Your tour will continue over to St. Mark's Basilica, which will already have closed for the evening. Step inside and experience Venice's most important site empty! As you explore the church, including the crypt, your guide will tell you all about this incredible building and its beautiful artifacts including the main altar and the famous Byzantine altarpiece, the Pala d'Oro.

Good tour due mainly to our tour guide. We were expecting to visit all the places listed on the tour, not only from outside. We had to go the following day and pay a ticket to visit some places inside. A bit pricey but it’s nice to visit a place without crowds especially in such a busy city.

This tour is truly a private tour of both the Palace and Basilica. Grace gave us a fantastic experience and lots of information throughout. We were so glad we decided to pay a little extra for this experience. We were the only group in the Palace and one of two in the Basilica. We cannot recommend this tour enough!!!

Elanor was the MOST AMAZING guide. She was so knowlegable and communicated very clearly. She was also very patient when half the group had to drop out due to the heat! We were able to hang on to the end, and it was so worth it. One of the best things we did on our trip. Can't recommend highly enough

The sites visited on this tour are occasionally closed due to special celebrations or high tides. If a site is closed, you will tour the exterior of the site. If time permits, you'll be contacted before the tour. For last-minute closures, modifications may be communicated at the tour start time
The Basilica is a holy place and attire must be appropriate. All participants regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. The tour operator cannot be held responsible for being denied entry due to improper clothing
Please note that all guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficultyAll guests must supply their full name that matches a valid ID at the time of the booking. Should you fail to provide these, your reservation will be canceled. Name changes are not permitted
