The Cathedral is closed to visitors on Sundays and during religious ceremonies. The Opera del Duomo Museum is closed on the first Tuesday of each month for maintenance. The Baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the mosaics on the vault, which are not visible at this time

Please follow the dress code, appropriate for a place of worship: clothing must cover both shoulders and knees. Shorts or skirts must be at least knee-length
Holders of tickets that guarantee access to any monument in the Piazza Duomo complex must leave luggage exceeding the permitted dimensions at the Luggage Storage (Piazza Duomo 38/r) before the start time of the visit. Visitors with prohibited items will not be allowed entry. The storage service is free and included in the ticket price
