This tour starts by your driver picking you up in the morning (semi-private tour with max 8 participants) from a meeting point in the city center of Bologna, located not far from the Bologna central train station.

After leaving Bologna and an approximately 1-hour drive, you will visit a dairy farm to learn about the production processes of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, from cows to wheels. The visit will be held directly by the producer's staff, so none of your questions will remain unanswered. Enjoy a tasting of different ages of organic Parmigiano Reggiano after the tour.

Your second stop is a small farm where the family has been producing traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena for generations. They will show the production process to you and explain all the peculiarities of the Balsamic Vinegar. After the visit, you will try different ages of balsamic vinegar.

Being in the area, your experience wouldn't be complete without visiting the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. Learn something new about the most renowned supercar brand of all time, Ferrari, during your free visit to the museum. At the end of the day, the driver will take you back to the meeting point in Bologna.

Bologna has a good connection with Florence, Padua, Verona, but the local operator highly recommends contacting them before booking your train tickets, since they can advise on the most appropriate train to take. You'll find their email and phone number for contact on your voucher
All visits and tastings will be conducted by the producers' team and might involve other guests; there won't be a private guide accompanying you throughout the day
The visits will be held in the countryside farms, make sure you have appropriate clothing and footwear. Inside the cellar/storage, the temperature can be low even during the summer period
Please be on time for your scheduled pickup, as it's not possible to accommodate late arrivals. No refunds will be possible in such instances

No pickup from hotels is included, you’ll need to reach the meeting point on your own. Pickup is from P.za XX Settembre, in the square in front of the NH De La Gare hotel, just a 5-minute walk from Bologna central train station. The van leaves at 08:55 am, and will not wait for latecomers. If you arrive late to the meeting point because of train or other transportation delays, the local operator won’t be able to accommodate you, send a refund or reschedule the tour to another day. It's kindly suggested to plan extra time for your journey to avoid any issues.
