From Puerta del Sol you will head towards the Mercado San Miguel to try some local products such as Iberian ham and pinchos, a small tapas held together with a stick. Next up you can try some famous Bocadillo de Calamares, a calamari sandwich. Enjoy a gazpacho in summer times or a tasty Cocido Madrileño, a hearty chickpea and pork stew, in winter.
