Join a full-day tour that takes you through some of Barcelona's best-known landmarks while also introducing quieter corners of the city.
The day begins with a drive up to Montjuïc hill, where panoramic views stretch across the city. This area also hosted key venues during the 1992 Olympic Games. After a short stop near the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC), you'll continue down to Plaça d'Espanya, passing through the Eixample district, known for its Modernist architecture.
At the Sagrada Familia, you'll enter the basilica with skip-the-line access, avoiding the long queues outside. The tour then continues to Barcelona's oldest neighbourhood, the Gothic Quarter, which remained enclosed by medieval walls until the mid-19th century.
As you walk through the historic streets, you'll visit Mercat de Santa Caterina, one of the city's traditional indoor food markets. The route then traces Barcelona's past from Roman times to the early Middle Ages, with stops in the former Jewish Quarter, the Royal Palace, the remains of a 2,000-year-old Roman temple and part of the Cathedral.
The final walking section takes place in the Born district, where you'll have time to stop for a light lunch and sample classic tapas.
After lunch, you'll head to Park Güell, the famous city garden designed by Antoni Gaudí. The tour concludes at La Pedrera, where skip-the-line tickets allow you to explore the building at your own pace.
