Join this 2-day tour from Hurghada and discover the highlights of Luxor combined with a hot air balloon experience!

Day one: After an approximately four-hour drive, you head straight to the impressive Karnak Temple, followed by Luxor Temple with the Sphinx Avenue. Then it's time to rest your legs and tuck into a delicious set menu lunch followed by check-in at a 5-star hotel for overnight. In the evening, experience the sound and light show at Karnak temple, which is a 1½ hour Hollywood-style extravaganza that recounts ancient history.
Day two: check out in the early morning, crossing the Nile to meet your pilot, crew, and fellow passengers of the hot air balloon. Feel your excitement grows as the hot air balloon is inflated and you step into the basket. Fly over the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, plus the green fields next to local villages. Upon landing, your Egyptologist will be waiting for you to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the staggering Colossi of Memnon. Another Nile experience onboard a felucca made your day while sailing towards the hotel for a delicious set menu lunch and then, driving straight away back to Hurghada.

Our guide Reda was so knowledgeable and was polite, helpful, interesting and helped us to experience the rich Egyptian history. Our driver Johanna (John) was kind, thoughtful, and really helped me getting on and off the bus which was difficult due to my disability. They were always on time and always we got more information than we expected. The balloon ride was also amazing and went like clockwork. The hotel Steinberger, - rooms were good, food not as good as we'd hoped but staff nice.

We were lucky that there were only 4 of us on the trip. The guide was very knowledgeable and a really lovely man, as was our driver. The balloon flight was incredible, and the man organising it was great. It would have been very uncomfortable in the bus if there was a full quota. The room at the overnight hotel was very basic & not very clean - we all felt that we were unwanted guests. Please warn guests to take a head covering for the balloon trip as the burners are extremely hot

Co do samej wycieczki i przewodnika nie mam zastrzezen. Jedynie hotel w którym zostalismy na noc byl przecietny. Jedzenie-slabe. Jako ze wycieczka trwa dwa dni i zaczyna sie w oba dni bardzo wczesnie rano, warto dobrze sie wyspac i zabrac cieple ubrania. Polecam

We felt the time spent at the hotel on the first day was excessive. We’d have preferred a later start and less down time. Hot air balloon ride was fantastic and the whole process a well oiled machine, very well executed.

If I could give this 10* I would. Its a lot of money BUT worth every penny. Our guide Wael was amazing, he taught us so much. The sites are fantastic. Karnak and the hot air balloon were our favourite. Take lots of cash, tissues, a pillow for the drive. Would seriously recommend this trip. No issues with safety and a big bonus being a private tour because it was all at our pace.

The balloon ride is unsuitable for anyone with injuries, who have had surgery, back/hip/knee problems, health concerns, walking difficulties, severe auditory problems, or is/may be pregnant
Infants below 2 years can join for free, but for a balloon ride the minimum age required for children is 6 years, and they need to be accompanied by an adult

Extra fees to be paid on-site:

Your entrance ticket to Valley of the Kings includes a visit to 3 tombs excluding the tombs of Tutankhamun and Ramses VI.
Please, note that the entrance tickets to the Tomb of Tutankhamun require a fee of around 700 EGP for adults and 350 EGP for children under 12. Entrance fees to the Tomb of Ramses VI are around 220 EGP for adults and 110 EGP for children under 12

Please note that the shared tour option is only available on selected dates. The private tour takes place every day. If you book a private tour for only one person, you must have a minimum age of 12 years. The 6-people private group is open to a maximum of 15 participants
Balloon trip is subject to favorable weather conditions. If a balloon flight is cancelled due to weather conditions, customers will be entitled - in this case - to a partial refund
Flight duration is normally about 45 minutes, however, flight times can vary from 40 to 90 minutes depending on the temperature of the air
Although the tour is available in different languages, an English-speaking guide will be the alternative if minimum participants are not reached or unavailability of other languages
Tour duration and pickup time are simply guidelines subject to change due to operational conditions and your hotel location
Please arrange a takeaway breakfast box with your hotel reception one day before the tour date
If your accommodation includes dinner, then please coordinate with your hotel reception prior tour date to provide a late dinner at your room upon return
Please be aware that a copy of your passport will be required during the confirmation process
