Monkeys aren't the only thing you'll see swinging through the trees on this day out. At Punta Cana's premier primate park, you can fly through the forest canopy too. Head to Monkeyland's spectacular mountain surrounds to spot super-cute squirrel monkeys and then hit the heights for a thrilling 12-wire zipline course.

Kick off with a visit to Casa del Coco to learn all about coconut oil and other organic Dominican products. You'll get to taste a few of them along with the national tipple, mamajuana, too. Suitably refreshed, we'll then head through acres of lush green rainforest and along mountain slopes towards Monkeyland.

Home to hundreds of chattering squirrel monkeys, you'll see these friendly creatures at play in their natural surroundings as you tour the botanical gardens. And if you really want to make it a wild day out, you can upgrade your ticket to include the park's action-packed zipline course – one of the longest in the Caribbean – or a buggy ride and river swim.

Fantastic interaction with the monkeys, lots of information given by the tour guide. Great extras with cigar making, staff had great energy well worth the money.

We booked the triple adventure. All the staff were excellent throughout helpful and attentive. Obviously there are products to be sold at each area of the adventure package but the staff were not pushy at all, they just appeared to want to ensure you had a good time. Our guide Gary and the driver Cesar were really informative telling us just enough to keep you interested. Must say however the budgie ride would have been better if it was went but overall a great experience

Also die Tour Ansicht war super. Von der Abholung über den Tour Guide alles super. Das einzige was wir als Familie montieren mussten waren die Mehrkosten die während der Tour auf uns zu kamen. Hier Fotos,da Fotos okay wobei man diese ja nicht kaufen muss. Aber! Bei der buggy Tour bekommt man vorher nicht gesagt dass man einen Schutz für Mund und Nase braucht (bandana) und einen Schutz für die Augen (Sonnenbrille). Man kann alles vor Ort kaufen. Aber hätte man es vor dem Ausflug gewusst(viel €)

This was our second trip to monkeyland because we loved it so much last year. We have never repeated an excursion before - so that says a lot. Staff were great, lunch was very basic (pasta, salad, chicken, rice). We did the buggies and there was a stop off at a river which I swam in. The monkeys were brilliant, climbing all over us when food was given, very well taken care of. 10 out of 10
