Every saturdaynight in July and August, the zoo extends its opening hours until sundown, offering a truly special way to savour the season. During Summer Nights, the new ARTIS-Aquarium is also open until 9 pm, allowing you to explore the underwater world into the evening.
As the sun dips low, you can meander past lions and flamingos bathed in the soft glow of twilight, accompanied by the soothing sounds of live music wafting across the grassy expanses. The Summer Nights at ARTIS promise an unforgettable experience, whether you're there for the lively entertainment, engaging activities or simply to appreciate the animals and verdant surroundings in a new light.
The park is alive with hourly surprises; from workshops and themed tours to children's yoga and special performances, there's always something exciting to discover. With a Summer Nights ticket, you have access to ARTIS Zoo from late afternoon until nightfall. A host of family-friendly activities await, culminating in a main event that begins as evening falls.
