Our 3rd Tukxi trip this holiday, and each has been good fun. This time we had Lydia as our driver. Lydia was a lovely guide and joined us for a coffee and chat in the Nun’s valley. I put my jacket in the back of the Tukxi but forgot it when we got back to the hotel; Lydia found my jacket and returned it. We loved the freedom and slow pace of the Tukxi tours, which allowed us to see much more than you can in a coach.

The tour surpassed our expectations with the tuk tuk taking us from our hotel out of Funchal and up into the hills at over 1000m with really amazing scenary. The tuk tuk was quite old and rather noisy but that added to the fun.

We liked everything about this. Ride in the Tukxi was fun. It was open topped and we could really enjoy the scenery without having to drive. The views were stunning. The driver was very friendly. His English was excellent and he was very knowledgeable. Excellent.
