Your journey begins with an evening pick-up from your accommodation in Luxor and a comfortable transfer to the train station, where you will board the overnight sleeper train - an added adventure in itself. Guests are entitled to both dinner and breakfast on board.

Upon arrival in Giza the next morning, you'll be greeted by your Egyptologist guide. Start at the legendary Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids and the iconic Sphinx. Stand in awe before these ancient wonders as your guide brings their history, mysteries, and engineering brilliance to life.

After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, you'll continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), Egypt's newest cultural landmark overlooking the Giza Plateau. Explore its spectacular halls filled with thousands of artefacts, including the complete treasures of King Tutankhamun displayed together for the first time.

Here, you'll have the opportunity to marvel at the Grand Staircase lined with colossal statues, royal relics, and immersive exhibits spanning 5,000 years. At the end of the day, after your visit to the museum, you'll return to the train station for an overnight train journey back to Luxor and a comfortable drop-off at your hotel.

This tour is available in shared and private options. Shared tour options are: Option 1 - Single train cabin, and Option 2 - Double train cabin (price per person). A minimum of 2 people is required to operate the shared tour - solo traveller bookings will be confirmed if other guests join the tour
The price of the private options is the price per person in the group. Solo travellers who want the private tour can choose the 'Private Tour' option, which includes 1 single cabin. The 6-people private group is open to a maximum of 15 participants
Private tours options are available for groups of 2 people (1 double cabin), 3 people (1 double cabin + 1 single cabin), 4 people (2 double cabins), 5 people (2 double cabins + 1 single cabin), 6 people (3 double cabins), and so on up to 15 people
Hotel pick-up service is included. Please provide your hotel information, email and phone number at the time of booking. The local operator will contact you 24 hours before your tour date to confirm the pick-up time
Tour duration and pick-up time are approximate and subject to change due to operational conditions. Please expect a duration of around 36 hours for the complete tour
