Vi laver et stop i byen Margao, besøger et lokalt marked og slutter dagen af med en traditionel frokost omgivet af kolonitidens charme. Supriya, en af vores dygtige, lokale guider, siger: "Denne tur tager dig med lige ind i hjertet af det goanske liv. Du får lov til at handle på det travle marked, hvor du finder et stort udvalg af råvarer, som dyrkes i regionen, og derefter rejser du videre med tog og rickshaw, ligesom lokalbefolkningen gør." Morgenen starter i Margao – Goas travle kommercielle hovedstad. Her får du lov til at udforske markedet, og du kan vandre rundt blandt de farverige boder og øve dig i at prutte om prisen. Markedet stammer helt tilbage fra tiden før kolonitiden, hvor det var et vigtigt centrum, og hvor der blev handlet med krydderier og andre varer. I dag byder markedet på flere typer af friske madvarer, tøj og pyntegenstande. Derudover er der endda en loppemarkedsafdeling. Herefter sætter vi os i en rickshaw og bliver kørt til stationen for at tage toget videre til næste stop. Når toget stopper i Sanvordem, tager vi bussen videre til Quepem for at besøge det imponerende Palacio Deao. Denne 200 år gamle herregård tilbyder en fantastisk blanding af induistisk og portugisisk arkitektur og har en imponerende udsigt over Kushavati-floden. Vi får en guidet rundvisning, hvor vi ser på den luftige indretning fra kolonitiden og fantastiske haver inden frokost, hvor vi får lov til at smage på nogle af de mest populære goanske specialiteter.

Round off day one with a stop at the colourful Devaraja flower and fruit market and an evening visit to Brindavan Gardens.On day two, we swap history for nature in Bandipur National Park. This is one of India's premier wildlife sanctuaries and the largest protected area in southern India. After a scenic drive to the park, you'll take a thrilling safari ride to spot impressive Indian elephants, beautiful Bengal tigers and more. After a wild day out, you'll head back to Mysore to hit the hay. On your last day, the highlight is a trip to Somanathapura and the ancient Keshava Temple, dating back to 1268. As you head northbound towards the airport there's a chance to visit Cubbon Park and Vidhan Soudha if time allows, before jetting back to Goa in the evening.
