Buckingham Palace serves as the official London residence of His Majesty The King, and is one of the few remaining working royal palaces in the world today.

Each summer when the Palace is not being used in its official capacity, visitors can enjoy the 19 magnificent State Rooms that provide the setting for ceremonial occasions and official entertaining by members of the Royal Family. The rooms are furnished with many of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection, including paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens and Van Dyck, sculpture by Canova, exquisite examples of Sèvres porcelain, and some of the finest English and French furniture in the world.

Visitors to the Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace will see the White Drawing Room, perhaps the most beautiful of all the State Rooms with its spectacular crystal chandelier, the Music Room, where guests are presented on the occasion of a State Visit, and the Throne Room, which was the setting for the formal photographs following the wedding of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales

Following a visit, the Palace's Garden Café offers the perfect location to enjoy a selection of light refreshments while taking in panoramic views of the lake across the lawn, before visiting the Garden Shop.

Wir hatten wirklich Probleme, da man seine Tickets an einem Schalter eintauschen muss. Gott sei Dank waren wir früher da, denn man kontte unsere Buchung über TUI nicht finden. Schließlich stellte man uns neue Tickets aus, das Geld war also nicht verloren. Man empfahl uns aber beim nächsten Mal direkt über den Buckingham Palace zu buchen, ein weiterer Vorteil ist auch, dass man am Ende sein Ticket abstempeln lassen kann und somit immer wieder in den Palast kommen kann, ohne erneut zu zahlen.

Es war sehr interessant den Buckingham Palace auch einmal von innen zu sehen. Durch den Audioguide, den man zu Beginn der Tour erhält, kann man sich viele Informationen über die einzelnen Räume abspielen lassen (in verschiedenen Sprachen). Die Sicherheitskontrolle war gut organisiert und man musste nicht lange anstehen. Es ist schade, dass man keine Fotos machen darf und man muss seinen Rucksack in der Hand tragen, was auf Dauer etwas unbequem war.

Really well organised. Lots to see. Great audio tour. And the cafe in the garden is really good value and was a pleasant surprise. The whole experience was relaxed and not rushed at all.

Belle expérience, un rêve réalisé pour ma fille. La sécurité est bien aimable et organisée. Seul bémol : pas de photos à l’intérieur, c’est dommage.

interessante visitare luoghi normalmente non aperti al pubblico e di cui personalmente ignoravo l'esistenza. L'eccellente guida ci ha fatto immergere nell'atmosfera raccontando con profonda conoscenza e professionalità i fatti del periodo a cavallo tra la dominazione dei Visconti e degli Sforza.

Please arrive at the time stated on your ticket. Your tour of the State Rooms will start 45 minutes after your chosen entry time.
