Snorkelling doesn't get any more hands-on – or exciting – than this experience in the Cabeza de Toro natural reserve. You'll get to snorkel among sharks and stingrays in this marine habitat, enjoy a glass-bottom catamaran cruise along the coast and then cap the adventure off by relaxing at a beach pool with a soft drink in hand.
This cruise is available either in the morning or afternoon – either way, you'll have a brilliant time. The fun kicks off the moment you set sail. We'll then anchor in the protected natural reserve, and you can snorkel among the stingrays and the generally harmless nurse sharks.
Back on board, it's time to party with a cruise along the Cabeza de Toro and Bavaro coastlines. The catamaran will stop at a beach pool – equipped with a floating bar – where you can wallow in the waist-deep waters while nursing a soft drink.

Terracross Tour of the Countryside from Punta Cana

Next, drop by a recreated Taino village – they were the aborigines who lived on the island before Columbus arrived – where you'll observe a folkloric show.Plus, you'll learn all about the production of local crops which are so critical to the local economy – coconut oil, sugarcane, coffee and chocolate as well as the unique Dominican chocolate tea. During your visit you'll have the chance to try some of these local products, along with the national tipple, mamajuana. Overall, a great close-up view of the Dominican countryside and local culture – on a thrilling Terracross safari.
