For an experience that's 100% Jamaica, look no further than this exclusive private excursion. A tour and tasting of the Appleton Estate rum factory gets the day off to a great start, followed by a refreshing dip in the famous YS Falls and a boat ride over to the one and only Pelican Bar. This is one of our private TUI Collection excursions, which give you a local flavour of the destination while offering you the freedom and flexibility to enjoy the day your way.
Kick off at the Appleton Estate and you'll tour the factory that produces what many consider the finest rums in Jamaica. Learn about the distillation process, juice your own cane and, of course, taste the honey-coloured rum. On to the cascading waters of the YS Falls, you'll cool off in the refreshing waterfall pools with a swim.
After lunch, we board a boat and glide out to the Pelican Bar. This ramshackle hut on stilts has to be seen to be believed. Standing on glittering waters, it's probably the coolest bar in the world. Don't forget to carve your name into the wood and if you have a flag handy, bring it out to barman Floyd. With luck, you might spot dolphins too.

Kingston & Blue Mountains Private Tour
This exclusive private tour of Kingston and the Blue Mountains highlights the contrasts between urban and rural Jamaica. Among the star attractions are visits to a coffee plantation, Emancipation Park and the Bob Marley Museum. First, we'll head into the Blue Mountains. Stop for an authentic Jamaican lunch and then tour the Craighton Estate – certified by the Rainforest Alliance – and taste its coffee. Then, it's on to laid-back yet noisy Kingston. Tour historic sites in the capital's uptown like Emancipation Park – here you'll see the Redemption Song and the Bob Marley statues. At the Bob Marley Museum, you'll see mementoes such as his gold and platinum discs as well as his outfits and instruments.

The magic of nature makes the waters glow an electric blue here – so a swim in the neon deep, plus a Jamaican dinner and limbo show, make this tour a bucket-list must.At Miss Martha's Herb Garden, you'll learn how to build a bamboo raft before hopping on to one, ready to float downstream. Your very own raftsman will pilot you downriver, so you can sit back and take in the tropical scenery. Along the way, your guide will tell tales of local folklore and introduce you to the importance of wild herbs in traditional Jamaican medicine and cuisine.After rafting, you'll drive through the historic town of Falmouth – a childhood stomping ground of world's fastest man Usain Bolt – and see St Peter's Anglican Church, one of the oldest churches in Jamaica. Next up is the star of the show. Tania says, ‘This lagoon is one of only four of its kind anywhere in the world. It's like a scene from the movie, Avatar. That's why I find it such a special, magical place.' Arriving at the Luminous Lagoon just after sunset, you'll have time to take a swim in the glowing neon waters. Finally, there's a welcome drink and a Jamaican dinner made from locally sourced ingredients as you watch an entertaining limbo dancing show.

Spirit of the Maroons Cultural Tour in Jamaica
Your journey through Jamaica's north will unveil the culture and history of the island. You'll visit the Charles Town Maroon Museum to learn about the Maroons' struggle for freedom, enjoy a tasty lunch at Strawberry Fields Together, and stroll through Sun Valley Plantation to sample fresh fruits and vegetables. Jada, one of our expert local guides, says 'The Jamaican Maroons have a proud and fascinating heritage. They are descendants of West African slaves who escaped from plantations and created communities known as Maroon Towns. These communities preserved their African roots - the Maroon culture is known for vibrant music, dance, storytelling, herbal medicine, and cuisine.'Our first stop is the Charles Town Basic School, a small school at the heart of the Charles Town Maroon community. Then we'll visit the Charles Town Maroon Museum - home to a wealth of artifacts, including traditional clothing, weaponry, and musical instruments. You'll learn about the Maroons' long struggle for freedom and their important role in Jamaica's history. Next, we'll enjoy a tasty lunch at Strawberry Fields Together, overlooking the coast where you can savour Jamaica's famously flavoursome cuisine. Our final stop will be at Sun Valley Plantation, a farm that showcases the best of Jamaica's produce.
