You will meet your guide and group at the Skaftafell Booking Center, the gray building with the turf roof, near the car park at Skaftafell Visitor Center in Vatnajökull National Park and the adventure is ready to start!
Your guide will drive you around 15 minutes towards Falljökull. Once there, you will gear up on crampons, have the security briefing and more information about the amazing phenomenon. It will take around 30 minutes hiking to get to Falljökull, where you will also have the chance to view Hvannadalshnúkur, Iceland´s highest peak.
