See exotic wild animals roaming free at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. You'll receive a pass to explore this open-air zoo for an entire day. Unlike other zoos, this amazing safari adventure is home to thousands of animals from Africa and Asia, some roaming together on the vast open plains of California.

Your pass will give you access to regular shows as well as the Africa Tram, a brightly colored vehicle that will take you around some of the field exhibits. From tiny meerkats to huge elephants, the landscape holds over 2,600 different animal species, giving you plenty to see for an entire day.

We enjoyed the Panda bear exhibit and they were feeding them at our time of 11:45 am on Sunday 2/22/2026. The Koalas were fun to watch while eating and I felt very close to all the animals. We were close but not invasive. It was a great day and all ages enjoyed the exhibits. The one draw back is the cost of food and drink. We did buy bottled water and chips for a snack. Maybe help us understand the high costs. We chose to spend on souvenirs which there were a lot of quality products. : )

during the entire month of October, children ages 11 and younger receive free admission (no ticket required) when accompanied by an adult with a valid form of admission. One adult with a valid form of admission can bring up to 5 children each
tickets will be valid for one year from the date of purchase
