The Aeolian Islands are a true natural paradise and can be easily explored on a day trip from Tropea. Spend a full day on this island-hopping tour – the archipelago is a UNESCO World Heritage Site – taking in Vulcano, the charming port town of Lipari and the active volcanic island of Stromboli.

Relax into your journey across the Tyrrhenian Sea, with a good chance of wild dolphins escorting you some of the way to your first port of call – Stromboli. Enjoy dramatic views of the island's dominating feature – the active volcano that towers above all else. With any luck, you'll get to witness one of its eruptions, known to the locals as the Sciara del fuoco – ‘Stream of fire'.

Then it's on to soak up the charm of the pastel-coloured, thriving fishing port of Lipari – the largest town on the island of the same name. Your last stop on this is Vulcano, where you'll get to relax and take a dip in the hot waters warmed by sulphuric vapours from the seabed, in view of a steaming volcanic crater.

Keine Informationen im Bus! Es wäre fein, wenn einem wenigstens gesagt werden würde, dass man extra für das Schiff im Hafen zusätzlich ein Ticket besorgen muss. Einige wurden vom Schiff weggeschickt, da sie das Ticket nicht hatten.

Es war ein sehr schöner Ausflug. Der Bringservice war sehr gut. Wir waren nur 4 Personen aus unserem Hotel und wurden mit einem Kleinbus abgeholt. Die Fahrt von Tropea zur 1. Insel der Tour Vulcano dauerte ca. 2 1/2 Stunden. Man hatte dann 2 Stunden Aufenthalt, was aber zur Besichtigung der Insel voll ausreichend war. Dann ging es weiter zur Nachbarinsel Lipari, wo wir 2 1/2 Stunden Aufenthalt hatten, ausreichende Zeit, um die schöne Insel zu Erkunden. Es gibt keine Reiseleitung.

Es war ein tolles Schiff Sitzplätze etwas knapp. Die Erklärung unterwegs war sehr ??. Auch gab es ausreichend Zeit für Pausen und Essen. Insgesamt habe ich viel gesehen. Der Vulkan von Stromboli hat gerade geraucht. Sehr spannend. Das Schiff hatte Geschwindigkeit von 21 Knoten super.

Insgesamt hat sich der Ausflug total gelohnt! Es war abwechslungsreich und toll, dass man so viel Fteizeit hatte, die man selbst gestalten konnte. Dafür findebich den Preis allerdings zu teuer. Die Informationen auf italienisch, englisch und deutsch an Bord fanden wir kompakt und gut! Das moderne und saubere Schiff war komplett voll mit vielen lauten Italienern, weshalb man die Durchsagen - insbes. auf deutsch - leider akustisch nur schwer verstehen konnte. Tipp: alternativ Flyer oder QR-Code?

Zu hohe Außentemperaturen, zu viele Menschen, zu wenig Zeit auf Inseln, Vulcano sehr ungepflegt, Mitarbeiter auf Boot sagte mir, Croissants wären aus, obwohl am Tresen sehr viele Croissants lagen, Gedränge, keine optimale Organisation von Boot auf Bus

Sehr viel auf italienisch erzählt, auf deutsch zu wenig. Strandabschnitt auf Insel Vulkano sehr dreckig und ungepflegt. Fazit: dieser Ausflug kann man machen, muss aber nicht.
