Delos today is an uninhabited rocky island. But in classical times, it was the ‘Island of the Gods' – the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, and the most sacred place of all. On this half-day tour, you'll cruise to Delos to explore its important archaeological sites, and to learn about the myths and legends of ancient Greece.

It's just a short boat trip southwest to Delos from Mykonos, some 40 minutes. Once we've landed, we'll kick things off with a guided tour of the main archaeological sites. The Sacred Way, Temple of Apollo, Terrace of Lions and Agora of the Competaliasts are just some of the ancient ruins you'll discover.

In 1990, the island of Delos was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, recognized for its outstanding collection of antiquities dating from the Archaic, Classical, and Hellenistic periods. To preserve its archaeological integrity, no one is allowed to be born or die on Delos, and there are no permanent residents or tourist accommodation.
